About the Catalogue of Life China
The Catalogue of Life China (CoL-China) is planned to collect the basic information of all species (plants, animals and microorganisms) distributed in China. All information in the CoL-China will be available to all users in the world freely.
The CoL-China will serve users in two ways: a website and an standalone application. The website provides the latest annual checklist of CoL-China and the annual checklist of global CoL, while the standalone application provides the annual checklist of CoL-China only which can be dowloaded from the website.
A Web API provides an interface for application program to download the data of the Annual Checklist.
The first annual checklist of CoL-China was released in 2008 and updated annually.
